We know a lot about Modern Warfare 2, from gameplay teases to general information, we’ve got a lot under our belt here ahead of Call of Duty Next. There is, however a few things that we don’t quite know of just yet and one of them is a question I keep seeing on socials and think we should chat about to hopefully set expectations that won’t leave players disappointed if it works out as such. Today we’re taking a look at the prospect of the classic prestige system returning to Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer and whether or not we’ll likely be seeing the classic prestige system or the seasonal prestige system (or perhaps a new hybrid of both) in this upcoming Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer experience. Full transparency, there’s no definitive word just yet, but with ambiguous wording and phrasing in official marketing materials, I wanted to discuss some of the prior precedent set from the recent Warzone era that could indicate if Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer will include a classic prestige system or a seasonal prestige system. So as we go along, drop your thoughts, are you hoping to see changes made, are you hoping to see the classic systems in place or are you fine with where we’ve been?
